Event Description People in the long-term care industry give quality care to every resident’s physical, emotional, social, and psychological need. This daily giving and giving to each resident may often result in both physical and emotional fatigue for the caregivers. This session will help each employee identify the symptoms of compassion fatigue and how to overcome it. APRNS, RNs, LPNs, LMHTs, social workers, LPCs, LCPCs, and psychologists will earn 3 contact hours. ACHAs will earn 3 (E) contact hour. Approval is pending for 3 hours for occupational and physical therapists.
