Aug 15    Building and Sustaining Trust
What does trust have to do with business success? Everything. Trust is directly linked to employee engagement, retention, productivity, and innovation. Leaders who demonstrate trust and trustworthiness inspire higher levels of performance and organizational commitment. This course introduces the Trust Builders, actions leaders can take to build and sustain trusting relationships, as well as common trust breakers that can quickly erode or break trust. Applying these skills to build trusting relationships enables people to take risks, identify and solve problems, and collaborate to achieve business results. Aug 16    Monthly Chamber Luncheon
Whether you believe the hype or not, there are some facts that you just can’t dispute. Kansas City International Airport was built in 1972 and served only a few million fliers that year. Today it serves over 10 million passengers. It was built in a time when security was lax. Today, security is one of the utmost concerns of people when they fly. And finally in today’s global economy KCI is the many times the first impression a visitor has in our region.

A Better KCI is crucial for the KC region. Join us for a presentation by Joe Reardon, President & CEO, Great Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and Tim Cowden, President & CEO, Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC) on Weds. Aug 16th about this important topic.
