Our monthly chamber coffee in April will be co-hosted by Central Bank of the Midwest and the Gardner Edgerton Chamber of Commerce at their location across from Gardner City Hall (109 E. Main St.)

Come hear more about Zero Reasons Why, the teen suicide prevention initiative in Johnson County, network with your peers and enjoy morning refreshments from Groundhouse Coffee.

Apr 6    2019 Annual Trivia Night

Join us along with 200+ of your friends for our 3rd-ever Annual Trivia Event. Fun for all ages, participants will compete in 8-10 rounds of trivia with the winners crowned "Smartest People in Gardner Edgerton". Participants on the winning team will also take home some valuable goody bags, with certificates and prizes from a number of local businesses. Each team can have up to 8 individuals on it. If you don't have a team to play with, don't worry. Email jason@gardneredgerton.org and we'll help you form a team or join another.

Teams provide their own beverages and "tailgate" style dinner, we'll provide the trivia and FUN! 

Additional games will take place throughout the night to raise money and there will be a number of door prizes too. All of this to support two worthy organizations - The Gardner Rotary Club and The Gardner Edgerton Chamber of Commerce - and all the community initiatives they work on.

Apr 19    JCCC 50th Anniversary Film Series - Les Contes de la Nuit (Tales of the Night)
In honor of Earth Month and our ongoing celebration of JCCC’s 50th Anniversary, join staff from the Center for Sustainability for a free screening of “Les Contes de la Nuit (Tales of the Night).” The critically acclaimed silhouette animated feature will whisk you away to Medieval Europe, Tibet, the Land of the Dead, the African plains and other locations through the eyes of two kids and their friend, a projection technician with a cool computer. Join Kristy Howell, Sustainability Education and Engagement Coordinator, who will lead a post-movie discussion on ways storytelling can serve as a powerful tool for preserving our relationships to the natural world. Celebrate and connect all year long! Stay tuned for more 50th Anniversary Film Series events.

Join Superior Restoration and Construction and the Veterans Community Project for their first-ever Bags 4 Tags event on Saturday, April 27th. 

From 10am-4pm take part in the Double Elimination Cornhole Tournament and from 5-10pm enjoy a concert by Dolewite, Kansas City's favorite Hip-Hop cover band.

Registration for the event includes food, drinks, alcoholic beverages, live music and more! All proceeds will support the Veterans Community Project.
