Join us every Thursday night from 4-7pm for the Gardner Farmer's Market, sponsored by the Gardner Grange. Fresh produce, homemade jams and jellies, locally-raised meat and eggs, homegrown honey and a variety of craft vendors are on hand every week. It's a great place for the whole family!

The market is located next to Cornerstone Park, adjacent to the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

Note: No market will be held on July 4th or August 1st.

FOOD VENDOR INFORMATION: Please click the "Register Now" button above and follow the steps. Payment is due at the time of registration. You can pay by credit card or check. If you opt to pay by check, please mail to Festival on the Trails, PO Box 402, Gardner, KS 66030 and indicate your registered business name on the check.

You will receive email confirmation once your registration is complete. If you have questions, send an email to Info@FestivalOnTheTrails.com and one of the festival volunteers will get back to you as soon as possible.  


Registration is open for returning vendors only until Thursday, January 17, 2019. At that time we will open up registration to other food vendors. Registration is limited.

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION: Festival on the Trails is a celebration for residents as well as an opportunity to showcase Gardner to the rest of the Kansas City Metro area. Annually we host approximately 10,000 visitors to hear nationally-known bands and partake in festival activities. Beginning in 2019, Festival on the Trails will be a one-day event (Saturday, June 8, 2019). The Festival begins Saturday morning with the 3rd Annual Color Run 5K and continues with a full day of activities for children, crafts, and commercial booths, a car show, food, beer garden and much more! The festival concludes on Saturday night with a nationally-known musical act.

The Festival on the Trails is an independent community organization led by volunteers from the local area. We are always looking for volunteers to be involved with the event, whether it's working the event or serving on a committee leading up to the festival.

COMMERCIAL OR CRAFT VENDOR INFORMATION: Booths are located inside and outside. Inside booths include electricity, outside booths do not have electricity available. Please select the booth location and size appropriate for you.

FOOD VENDORS: Registration for new food vendors will open on March 1, 2019 if any spaces are still available.

Jun 8    Inaugural Gardner Cornhole Tournament
Join us for Gardner's first-ever Cornhole Tournament. Held during the afternoon of Festival on the Trails, it's a double-elimination format and the top three places will win prizes. The event will take place in the parking lot of the park maintenance building at the corner of Shawnee and Elm St. (next to the beer garden). All ages are welcome to participate. $25/team (teams of 2).

Come enjoy seeing an assortment of vintage airplanes on display and learn about flying during the "Golden Age" of aviation. On Friday evening, there is a potluck dinner and social for early arrivals. On Saturday, the pancake breakfast on the field starts at 7:00 am and lunch is on the field from 11:00 am - 2 pm. See warbirds, civilian planes and ultralights. $5.00 suggested donation for people 12 years of age and over. Hosted by VAA Chapter 16.
